The Universe

I literally have nothing to talk about

Thursday, 4 February 2010

Bah-da-dahh-da-dah-dah-dupp..

The verse begins and lyrical streaming

out of sight

visceral, like lunar

modules knocking all 52 states

onto a kitchen floor.

Blast off.

Butterfingers.

causing our breakfast to slip into the sky,

contained by a vehicle

of relative stares.

Those inexplicably brief moments.

Magic succeeds in conjuring up such miracles,

where are the orchestrated predictions solidified by consequence?

Just taking breaks.

Snap.

An admiration of swift, bold delicacies precedes the ballet.

Amongst disorder we all dance.
Dance as the performers sing in a merry song of many things.

Unfold.

Now...

Expend our patience by absconding an interference,

be content in the motions.

Be just,

this once,

be just.

we'll allow your ship to sink,

if you allow this ship to sink.

Anchor in and drag us deep through yonder,

Sputnik tucking Us in with a tickle under chins.

Dormant.

A FRYING-PAN FOR TULIPS

I didn't know what to do with these images.
I have no clue as to what they say.
There is little reasoning behind the shapes, text, colours or era.
The choice, aligned to kingdoms, has on this morning, decayed.

FOREVER IN PURSUIT
OF CONTEXT-UAL ROOTS,
A RIGHT OF OUR OWN
AND A SENSE OF THE TRUTH

TAKE LEAD FROM LINGUISTICS
– SUCH CURTAILED FORM OF SEEING
THROUGH THE NATURE AND THE PROBLEMS
I'M BLIND IN ABSURDITY
LIKE INVISIBLE TETHER ATTACHED, VIBRATING LETTERS
CAPTURED BY THE QUICK TONGUE
MY MOTHER'S ONLY WISDOM.

WHAT A FANTASTIC DEATH SHE HAD.
STRUCK BY ELECTRICAL WHIP DETAINING ERRORS OF SYNTAX.

I'M A DOORKNOB
I'M A CAMEL
I'M A TEXTUAL RECOLLECTION.
JUST A WORD
ENAMORED 'YOU'
AS A SUM FOR CALCULATING
HELP EQUATE
AND TO RULE
THE CIRCUIT-BOARDS
TO LIGHT US ALL.

I AM A JELLY DOUGHNUT

a transfigured shape-shifter for home

I'll be back for you soon

drawn and quartered whilst standing on opposite side of the street where a new years celebration was taking place.
friends and unfamiliars frolicked amongst snowfights, german champagne and snap, crackle, pops of feuerwerks were heard overhead although seen from an equal level with our eyes. applefuckers firing cylinders from all angles, yet we chose not to hide, but retaliate.
with fire kindled from the trinkets of peter pan's children, jars were set loose and the sparks celebrated in a jubilant competition of victory.

we arose the morning after, feasting on a breakfast of champions.

whenever I buy a new pen (it's not actually a pen, but more of a short, thin piece of tubing capable of containing ink with a brush attached to the 'opened when pressure is applied' orifice on the end, although the latter isn't really as easy to sell to people as the term 'Pen'), I can't help but wonder how or why such simplistic, new found movements of fluidity, within the grasp of fingertips, can enable the imagination to conjure up an array of gross creatures.

COMPANY

A collage made from family photographs found rustling through wicker baskets whilst perusing a flea market in Brighton.

Friendships - Lovers - Solitude
It is only when the latter begins to ask introverted questions that we query not any one in particular, but only ourselves. With this in mind, evidence for a purpose in 'doing' anything at all proves to become quarrelsome.

Perhaps at this conjuncture we begin searching for the lost ones we chose to forget in the process of constructing a monumental 'self'. With our hands dipped in the words of Others, pick up the paints and dress our face in masks, rub traditions into skin, moisturize our filaments in a radioactive sunburn and compound our sparks into a bulb of one, never to be lost in the pond of a swan mourning over their lost love, shot in the early hours of the morning by a drunkard out to prove the power of man, for the love of his Other.

EQUATIONS

A sum dividable by its own parts,
the answer?
gripped tight in the shut palm of truth.
I'm a horse galopping, body made of glu.
My answer is the same before,
we all lay in before.
The answer is there,
at the moment when the hand found something
worth holding on to.

chair patterns. like in a dream when you see a place,
an unknown, vast landscape, built from passive observations
in the street.
Yet sense informs us it IS a place we should recognise in an instant.
In similar vein, what you see below are patterns found on the chairs of the District Line, or so says the caption.
What you see below is imaginary.
And you'll never see it anyway.

THIS IS OURS

Photobucket

For when walking in new, unchartered territories, or surrounded by peoples that create a sense of unease in your mind. Drop the walls. You have created an unhealthy Other, a vehicle of which you have allowed to carry your projections of fear onto. Any excuse to return to the womb. Now drop the walls, the concept, don't allow your self to forget the adventure.
We can only ever be found if we are lost.
So remove the tag from your bag/pocket/carrying apparatus.
Hold tag at eye level.
Repeat 'This is Ours' five times aloud.
Regardless of who surrounds you.
Remind your self that the Other you have created is only an array of symbols embodied in a detached sense of existence. Although you may be scared, the floor we walk on together is always ours, the air we breathe is ours and the sight, the language, is ours.
Feel at ease.
Bend those knees.
Ha ha.

THIS IS OURS.

"with the minds of prehistoric rainworms, we can travel through time"

˚
Castro and myself visited Rimini and Rome over the Summer. Finding a hidden treasure within the confines of an overgrown and desolate courtyard. Subsequent to prizing open the door to reveal what contained carcasses of pigeons, floor covered in excrement, decrepit school desks and tarten sheets overhanging the ceiling, a 5am set-off on hired bicycles and with a bounty of paper, home-made-glue (for snack attax) and paints, we embued Bear Gami upon the walls and left after 6 hours of inhaling the shit and sweet delights of pasting our imaginations upon the walls.
The first eFactist exhibition of sorts.

Bring on Stockholm.

EVIDENCE

i'm a cheat
a thief
a complete despondent
truth

i'm your home
your smile
your desire reconciled

I condensate for us
I condensate for me
I condensate for you
a storm to bring us sea

i'm the naked lumbar stripped from your body
i'm the rainwater dripping on your shoe incessantly
through the permeable bus stop roof above your head
i'm watching over you
just like she said

I condensate for us
I condensate for them
I condensate for others
a storm to bring us sea

i'm the hazel of your iris
simmer in copper pots
my bubbles clamber up and over
like the 23rd Division
-
France & Flanders
August 1915
wailed in orchestrated
squeals
-
God rest there souls
and allow God to rest
for two minutes
remember
a classroom of pupils
suffering steam
and condensation
oh the heat!
the flames!
of the oil and the gas!
of the price that we pay
for the price of today

I'll sell you your home
for the dead
for the married
few locked in time
forever
with no body

I condensate for us
that's all we'll remember
I condensate for you
and that's all we'll ever do
I condensate for others
to commemorate the living
a storm to bring us sea
just remember death is true

my knees do bend and watch them shake
when I need you love
you leave me love

buckle under certain trends
the vowels I use for you my friend

are highlights for excess parade
we'll leave this town in jitters dave

the joke

the snake uncoils
reveal a gaping mouth
laugh in the silence
in the silence, find laughter

-

the tip of its tail
dripping with honey to allow
my mind to feed
in eternity she'll find us

That's 30 Pence Please

My favourite carpenter Alan Welsh will soon be releasing a four song EP.
The EP is currently untitled.
But the Tracklisting is as follows:

1. Just Like That
2. Cardboard Hilltop
3. Trains Are Broken
4. Emergency

His musics leave me betwixt and between conscious and the unconscious state of doing.
In fact, just the other night I fell asleep with headphones on and as the EP filtered into my dreams, I awoke to find myself naively smiling like drunk person reflecting childhood nostalgia.
He has asked and I have accepted to make some artworx, so the above is just a test as to what may or may not work.

The digital clock says 23:33.

2012: An Intergalactic Guide to the Birth of Newmanity

Another book, this one comes with free badge and is SLIGHTLY smaller than your standard A5 spread. Conceptual notion of adhering to potions.
'2012...' collage book of man's obsession with our continuous logging of earth samples to satisfy proof of 'nature' in the gods eye (in fact the eye of man and only ever, man) in a trade for sacrificial science of proof, of a knowledge in man of what is perceived as humankind's idea of nature only to crumble at creation of flag, all wrapped up in prayer like winnie the pooh's fists stuck together by jizz and the imaginary order of honey treacling down tigger's tail.
